Dr. Alexandria Lynch and Jenifer Legions

Dr. Alexandria Lynch is a native of Bayside, Queens by way of Barbados, West Indies.
Her formal training in music began, at the Stuyvesant School of Music; she started as a piano student and then transferred to voice. Like most creative spirits she found it difficult to stay focused on one genre, she studied both the classics and contemporary jazz while dabbling in art and writing. After training with Patricia F. Robinson she was accepted into LaGuardia High School of Music and Art and Performing arts and granted a scholarship to Harlem School of the ARTS. She graduated from high school with a concentration in voice and majored in Theatre and Dance at Queens College CUNY. She has performed at Lincoln Center, Madison Square Garden, and the Kennedy Center and has enjoyed traveling and performing for the greater part of her high school and college career.
In 2000 she received a full scholarship to New York Medical College and she graduated in 2004 with an MD. and Master of Public Health. She is specializing in Urologic Surgery in Westchester NY and continues to write. While the journey to medicine seems non-traditional the path was fluid and music was my guide.
Alexandria can be reached at Urocat@gmail.com and encourages students interested in medicine to contact her for advise.
